This project's purpose was to help us to learn how to effectively activate negative space. We started by choosing a geometric or biomorphic shape. We then traced and cut 14 identical pieces of cardboard. We connected the pieces at the slots around each piece to create a sculpture. We did this 3 times, taking a photograph each time.

This project was challenging because it was hard to tell what the finished project would look like. We just had to piece the shapes together while trying to form a coherent image. I believe my first photograph resembles an angler fish or possibly a poodle. I like the way that their is a higher protruding piece but it still appears balanced. I'm not too sure about what the second image resembles, but I think the third image resembles to rabbits sitting up on their back legs.
